chemo cycle 2 day 4

chemo started on friday. 1 pack of rituximab, 6 packs of cyclophosphamide so far. One IT done (spino chemo). My haemoglobin is 7.8 today (normal is 12-16) so I am in for a blood transfusion.

Hope all will be well.

it has been quite an adventure so far with me getting a CVC line and all. Overall I am still feeling fine.

Keeping my fingers crossed and praying everyday.

Hi Fay

Happened to see your blog from a caregiver kel's blog.

I am a new cancer patient, will be seeing the Oncologist tomorrow to see what type of treatment I need.

You guys are really marvellous, facing all those scary chemos and fighting the monster (like what Molly called it). I wish I will have the same strength to go through the treatment.

Anyway all the best!

Hi Josy,

Sorry to hear you are a new cancer patient. Get lotsa support from fellow fighters. You will find this journey a lot more bearable than you may think.

May I know what are you diagnosed with?

Cheers,
Fay

Hi Fay,
My name is Liz and I have come across you blog some time ago. I am so sorry that you have to face this battle, but you can face it and you can come out a stronger person for it. Your optimism and resilience is truly amazing and I hope to read soon that you are in remission and on your way to full recovery.
That said, since your blog is a great resource for someone going through cancer I wanted to reach out to you to see if you were interested in a new online social support network (that I am the community manager of!) called I Had Cancer. It is a new and free social support network focused on connecting people based on experiences with cancer so that they can easily communicate with one another and share information. I would love to tell you more if you are interested, so please let me know! Because I was so struck by your writing I would love to send you an early-access pass with extra invites for others you may know going through this journey.

Either way, thank you so much for your writing. Take care and best regards.
