Help needed

Someone's bro, only 17 this year, needed platelet donation badly.

Not a joke OBVIOUSLY

His blood type is A+.

Please help. Go to SGH block 7 level 2 (Haemotology centre, which is like my 3rd home already) and request for a screening. Please also request that you are donating to FUK KAR WAI.

Help please! And please spread the word

Thanks

Hello there Fayth. I found your blog through xdd's and i have to say as i read through your blog i found such similarities. i am a CML and i feel i am considered fortunate not to have gone through chemo since i was diagnosed on my 21st, 3 months after my birthday. I used to be in SGH too, block 7 ward 7 but have since moved with Prof Tan to Mount E. I am too not a straight, I am too a 1981. i totally feel for you and i think you are very very brave. God has his plans and like you have said a few times in your blog with regards to that cancer usually happens to optimistic people, i couldn't agree more. though i do not have very much understanding on CLL but i certainly wish you well and blessed. i will keep watching this space and pray for you :) take greatest care

Hi Fayth, actually i do not have a blog that keeps my experience of CML though it has been thus much years since diagnose. fortunately with the help of glivec and now dasatinib i am able to live life per normal that no one would be likely to tell that i am actually a victim of leukaemia. i am thankful i ain't had the hardest hit yet. though i haven't had a clearer view yet of my future as there ain't no certain answer to where the medication would bring me to but thus far my doctor has advise against bone marrow transplant as to avoid the complications of the aftermath that could likely lead to death. he said that probably the medication could be a help though he still has no idea to whether it is of 100% but i guess this is the only hope i am clinging on to. i can converse though via email but i would like to leave a private message instead so as to not disclose my email address here. if in any form of ways i can post my email address up without revealing do let me know. meanwhile, take the greatest of care pal.
